A restored model for Honey Bunny created for the aims of Space Jam. It is Honey Bunny who was originally planned to be featured in this movie as Bugs' female counterpart. However, one of artists working on this film stated that she looks too much like Bugs, so they needed to change her visual appearance. Probably from the very beginning artists wanted to change her name as well, among proposals were Bunni Bunny, Lola Buni (it's not a mistake!), Lola Rabbit, and even Daisy Lou. Eventually they gave her name of Lola Bunny. To large extent, in terms of visual appearance and personal features, Lola Bunny refers to comics version of Honey Bunny and, in fact, she is an updated version of her

I still wish they hadn\'t changed Honey. It just seems like Honey and Lola are two different girls. I understood the appearance change, it\'s the personality, and name change! Minnie looks like Mickey\'s twin, but they did not turn Minnie into a supermodel! I Love Honey!
